We got a light dusting of snow, just enough to make the roads slippery ... and for the kids to taste it!

And help Zelda taste the snow!


Last weekend all our kids were gone so James and I made a productive trip to Lowe’s. We planted the trees this afternoon. The kids liked digging the holes too.

New Year, New Birthdays

Elijah turned 8 in January 


So he started cub scouts just in time for the Pinewood Derby. 


Rose was having trouble with friends at school so I curled her hair to boost her esteem.

Date Night

James gave me tickets to see Straight No Chaser (an a capella group) for Christmas. No kids, the best company, and great music! 

Discovery Museum

During Christmas break we took the kids to the Discovery Museum in downtown Reno.

First we took Elijah, Rose, and Emma.

Then we took Gabriel and Ephraim. All kids had so much fun.
