Family Fun

Fun times together as a family. We rode the ferris wheel in Scheels.
Dancing in the car on the way to school, ending in the "dab" dance pose.
James and I had a date and walked around the marina in Sparks.
Wow! The kids are playing nicely together! I gotta capture that moment.
Slumber party with cousins. Yes, I had NINE kids in the house at once. We had pizza for dinner and rocked out to Dance Party on the Wii U.

I took my five goslings out for a walk around the marina too.

It was exhausting, but they did it.

Ephraim's Baptism

Ephraim was baptized on Saturday, April 7 by James.
Grandma and Grandpa McMillan came up for the celebration.
Emma was stuck on Grandpa the whole time. ... He IS a cool guy!
I made a plastic canvas cross stitch case for Ephraim's new set of scriptures.

April Trip to Utah

James, Ephraim, Gabriel, and I drove to Utah to see a session of General Conference in person.
When we got to Brian and Kelli's house, they took us for a walk to their neighborhood park.
The park had fun bushes to hid in and bridges to cross.
Don't look, mom! We're being dangerous.
 Saturday afternoon session of Conference.
We walked around Temple Square a little.
On Easter Sunday, we hid eggs for the kids to find.
 Counting the loot.
There was a park down the road with a huge wooden castle play structure.

Arthur was toddling around and liked playing with the big boys. Baby Walter was all smiles and simply adorable. Everyone can't help but fall in love with him.
 Being weird.
Salt Flats on the drive home.

Ephraim's Birthday

A phone call woke us up early on March 16: SNOW DAY, school was cancelled. Best birthday present for Ephraim.

First look out our front door early in the morning. We measured 12-13 inches of snow.
The kids were eager to play in so much snow. Yay, no school!

Elijah and Ephraim played with the two little boys across the street. They dug a snow tunnel.
Ephraim was outside the longest, with Zelda to keep him company.
Ephraim opened his presents from Grandma and Grandpa Gunn in Colorado. Fun books and a flying helicopter!
Happy 8 years, my sweet Ephraim!
More sledding fun, it's better with deeper snow.

The biggest kid enjoyed himself too.
Brave Rose goes sledding down the hill with dad.
James built a large snow ramp in the backyard. The kids had fun sledding at home. I looked outside a while later and Zelda was happily perched on top. I think she was waiting for her turn. :)
